Hello, I started coding for a podiatrist, and I am having trouble even with Codify to code a surgical shoe HCPCS L3260. Is there any other code we would be able to use in its place, as even codify shows 0 units billable for $0.00. Thank you

Good morning Jessica! Surgical shoes are not covered by most payers. They are cash pay. Some Medicaid plans will pay for them.
Okay, So there is no other code I can use to bill a surgical shoe instead of L3260? That charge will go to the patient, except for some Medicaid. Thank you

You're welcome! The surgical shoes have a very low cost, so generally the patient is only responsible for 20 to 50 dollars.
