Hcpcs code L8630 Metacarpophalangeal Joint Implant has special coverage instructions, However, as I look for the CMS: 100-4,4,190 I do not see it.
I work at an ASC, and my administrator believes that I should code this with a modifier of some sort.
I am not sure, since the 2016 book I have skips the section completely.
If anyone can assist I'd greatly appreciate it.
