Hello!
I'm new to lab/path coding and have a question that I hope can be easily answered by a PRO in lab/path coding.
If a patient comes into a lab with 3 different lab orders from 3 different doctors, lab is drawn and tests processed.
One provider ordered 80048
Second provider ordered CPC
Third provider ordered 82947
Should the lab be picking up that the 82947 is included in the 80048 and not bill separately or can it be billed separately since it was ordered by a different provider?
