We have just started billing for blood draws in the office and sent to outside lab. Can anyone help me with this? I think we should code 36415 for commercial carriers and G0001 for Medicare and it is one charge per patient encounter. If they only see the nurse to have labs drawn do I just bill the 36415. If they see the physician and then the nurse performs the blood draw do I just bill the EM code?
