Hello,

I need help with patient coming to with deep laceration in forearm. Repair was done to : radial artery, radial nerve, brachial radialis, flexor carpi radialis, extensor radialis longus & brevis. I am not used to coding laceration to artery/muscle/tendon/nerves. Can someone help me with this?

Thanks,
Jy

Look at the 35206 code. This is what we use for trauma lacerations. 35206 is direct repair, 35236 is with vein graft and 35266 is with graft other than vein. So if he just repaired them directly without using any type of graft we use 35206. Hope this helps.
