If a patient has a 10 cm laceration and 4 cm of the laceration was sutured using deep stitches and the remaining 6 cm repaired with simple sutures how would you code this? Thanks for your help.
 
The answer is in the CPT guidelines

The answer to your question is in the CPT guidelines. 2010 Professional edition, page 64. Item #2 specifically tells you what to do when you have multiple wounds which are repaired.
