Patient cut finger at work on a meat slicer.
Sutures are needed, Provider prepped and draped....
"First had to remove 4mm of distal tip of thumbnail. Had to use nail lifter then clippers, then sutures are placed."

This is not hte report word for word I shortened it but put the important info is there.
question: does this support the Excision of the nail to be coded with the suture repair??
