I was just wondering if anyone else has ever been faced with this dilemma? It makes sense to me that you would just code the 49652 and everything would be included. However, I am at a new job and the physician is on an RVU contract so since he's documenting 3 separate hernias, I just wanted to make sure to get other opinions, before I tried to bill this out. I'm sure he is thinking we can bill this three times. I don't think you could. Thanks in advance.
