If a doctor performs 44300 placement, enterostomy or cecostomy, tube via laparoscopic approach, can yo ucode it as 44300 or do you use the unlisted 44238?
 
Yes, I have always been told that you can bill to the closest CPT code. Therefore you can use the 44300 for a Laparascopic approach.
