Can anyone tell me if the mesh implant would be included in the laparoscopic codes, or is it just for the insertion of mesh?

i appreciate any information.

The application of the mesh is included.

The mesh implant itself is separately billable with C1781 or L8699 (or some carriers depending on your contracts will want 99070).

Medicare and Medicare products however will NOT pay for this separately as they have already included the reimbursement for this in the payment which is why the C1781 has an N1 payment indicator.
