I have an op note that reports laparoscopic biopsy of L lobe of liver with cautery destruction of several lesions and biopsy of omentum and abdominal wall. I originally thought about billing 47371 and 49321, however, in reading other posts regarding liver biopsies I am wondering if I should only be billing 49321 for all work done?
Any thoughts on this?
