Their is not a code for this for 2009. (their is for 2010-- 43281, 43282) So I have defaulted to 39599 to report the Lap PEH repairs thus far.

I bill for this procedure on a regular basis and I use the unlisted laproscopic procedure for esophagus...code 43289.

If the equivalant open is 39502 why are you not using the unlisted code in that section?
