MD did a bedside procedure.
2 laryngoscopies were done.
1 Mod 76 would be needed for 2nd procedure.
He went in through a hole created for tube insertion for respiratory problems.
Not all structures were examined, so the focus was not the larynx but the trachea itself.
An area was bypassed but MD went down to carina, the area just before where the boronchi fork to both lungs.
The purpose of the procedure is to visualize (tracheoscopy) the trachea for secretions or obstructions.
But do I need modifier 52 to indicate "Reduced service" since not all structures were visualized?

thank you
