This was a trauma patient. The procedure states it was done for elevated pressure, proptosis, and decreased vision.
"Lateral canthus of left eye was cleansed and anesthetized with ...Iris scissors were utilized to cut the skin laterally. I then turned my attention to the inferior crus of the lateral ligament encountering it as a taut tendon and cut it with the tipoff the scissors. After the tendon was severed the eye felt less taut and the patient reported some improvement in vision.
It seems that CPT 67715 would fit but I can't really give it an upper lid or lower lid. It seems more inferior and exterior.
Can anyone give some direction?
