HI ALL,

Dictation is very simple - drainage of deep chest wall abscess and layer closure.
should we code this layer closure? separetly.

Is that really the extent of the dictation?

Is that really ALL there is to the note? If so this isn't billable at all.

In general you do NOT code for the closure separately, EXCEPT for excisions of lesions coded from the integumentary system where more than simple closure is required.
