I have a patient that has Medicare and Medicaid and done something inappropriate in treatment with our contracted employee, can we discharge him legally?

Yes but must send the patient a letter explaining no more service/treatments but will cover the patient for 30 days till he or she gets new provider. You can give list of providers too or tell pt. go to local EMR if problems. Then send it certified mail to patient with return envelope showing proof it was delivered to home. Keep this in med record or scan into old records from office.
