Wiki Lesion excision question ?

Hi,

I know this is probably a silly question but our Doctor excised a lesion from the forehead, and I wasn't sure if I should use the excision code that reads excision of a lesion from the scalp or excision of a lesion from the face ???

No such thing as a silly question!

Since lesion removal is my specialty I will say the forehead is considered the face.

Well...

Basically I agree - forehead equals face.

But ... in my husband's case, his "forehead" goes clear up to the top of his head! LOL
