Wiki lesion excision

I would check with the doctor but any sebaceous cysts that I have coded have all been in the benign lesion section.

post op: sebaceous cyst

Would the excision be coded to an excision of benign skin lesion or would it still be necessary to determine if this was actually a soft tissue excision?? The doctor doesn't give the depth detail but he does say soft tissue was closed in layers.

do you have access to the pathology report if it was sent there
