Would appreciate thoughts/information about this scenario.

Surgeon removes a lump from the chest wall - where a mastectomy has been previously performed for a breast cancer.

Path comes back epidermal inclusion cyst.

Any other time this would be integumentary codes...114xx with 12xxx if there's layered closure.....but.... it could have been a cancer...recurrance of the breast ca or a new cancer diagnosis altogether. Do you still use the 114xx?

Thanks in advance.
