level of H&P that is needed for ASC surgeries

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the level of H&P for Podiatry that is needed for ASC surgeries? Is it true that a Podiatrist has to have a "Comprehensive H&P" performed by and MD or DO prior to surgery?
