Having a lot of discussion whether or not diarrhea or vaginal bleeding should be used as a Location in the HPI, does anyone have any thoughts on this? I feel these are not specific enough for Location. Thanks!

I would definitely count "vaginal bleeding" as location ... how much more specific can you be than vaginal?

Diarrhea is also a symptom that is pretty specific as to location. It can only occur in one body part.

Now 'Hypertension" cannot be so easily identified with a body area or specific site, so there is no way to infer the location from that condition. (But if it resulted in epistaxis you could infer "nose.")
