I would like feedback on if it is okay to bill a locum tenens physician with a Q6 modifier after he signs an employment contract. Is there any rules that state a locum tenens physician cannot be an employee of the group?
 
Locum Tenens indicates their actual hospital priviledges. They can still be employed and be a Locum Tenens-you would still bill with a Q6-Hope this helps!
