I am looking for info on if you can bill a Locum Tenens if you have a Physician that has left the practice. He is working for a different practice. Everything I see states physician leaves the practice and is not working you can. Thanks for the help.:confused:
 
I billed Locum Tenens for awhile it has been five years ago, I billed the the regular physician identifies the service as the substitute physician meeting the requirements with a HCPCS Q6 modifier after the procedure code. My sorce for this information is the CMS.
