I'm hoping that somone can give me suggestions on coding software tools that offer a week or two free trial version with CCI edits, and crosswalks along with the CPT and ICD-9 codes for quick research. We are currently using Alpha II but it is slightly limited in certain areas. Any suggestions are appreciated.:)

My favorite is EncoderPro from Ingenix. You can get a 30 day free trial, get the expert edition, it has a claim scrubber function. They will talk you thru how to use everything as well.

I really like our Ingenix Encoder-Pro, we use it every day, very helpful. There is also an upgrade which allows access to CPT Assistant.
