As a coder, I'll be purchasing the ICD-10 training program shortly, but my employer wants to know if there are any resources/training curriculums/programs that are dedicated to training the experienced billers? What type of training is available to them, and again we're speaking of seasoned billers, not coders. Looking for ideas, links, resources, anything that will get them on board....

The AAPC has an excellent on line trainng program that is very reasonable, and they will even consider a lower rate for groups. As AAPC credentialed coders are expereinced their training program is already slanted towards that population. I've looked at it for my department and am going to go with it.

Thanks, Linda, and yes I'm going for it for myself, but that course as you say is slanted towards the coding faction, and we need something that would be slanted toward the billers if anything is available.
