Review the different clinics' dictation for medical necessity of the chosen level by the provider and coder plus make sure all encounters meet documentation guidelines. Review clinics' chart for proper paperwork for the type of insurance the patient has, plus the network require paperwork it properly done. Type up findings of the review and teach the provider of the finding, plus changes in Medicare. Keep current on the Medicare rules; CPT changes and local LCD. I also in involved with Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) for the network.
