How do you look up the code for the following in the Alphabetic Index of External Causes?
Patient returns today to follow up on injuries incurred in a collision with a pedestrian while driving his motorcycle in a nontraffic accident.
I know that the correct code is V20.0XXD but I cannot figure out how to get to that code using the index. Thank you for your help.

Use the index to external causes, look at the top of the page to be certain you are not in the index to diseases
Use keyword accident,
Then transport
Then motorcycle
Then driver
Then collision
Then non traffic

Under Collision there are several nontraffic but they are all up under another term. None of which lead me to the correct code.

Apologies I did not see the part about the pedestrian..
under collision go to animal then non traffic... they use animal and human as one in the same once you see the code.

"...they use animal and human as one in the same". That's the only thing that makes any sense. Interesting. Thank you for your help.
