Hi everyone,

Can an LPC bill for a consultation with a teacher or school counselor? I am leaning towards not billable but thought to ask in the forums, JIC. First time!
 
Bill to whom, and for what kind of a consultation? Are they providing a medical service or treating someone for a medical or behavioral health problem?

Sorry! Bill to insurance either Medicaid or Commercial.
And they are treating a patient for a BH problem yes; during treatment they might need to consult with teacher or counselor about treatment needs for that patient etc.
