Does anyone have any suggestions about diagnosis coding for a nursing home? Are there any webinars on this? I have read the guidelines in the ICD-9 CM book, but have problems sometimes.
 
LTC coding

what type of issues are you having with LTC/SNF coding. I coded for this type of facility for years and would be glad to assist if I can . Please post your questions so that we all can assist you
 
If a resident has cancer and is receiving radiation but it is not the reason the resident is staying in the nursing home, do you still code the cancer diagnosis?
