Can someone please tell me how to bill for Leuprolide Acetate 7.5 mb? My doctor injected a pt with prostate cancer with Lupron 22.5 mg, but the description for code J9217 is 7.5 mg, do I bill three units. The way I understand it, 7.5 mg is for 1 month and 22.5 mg is for 3 months, but there is not a separate code. Would appreciate any advise. Thanks.
