I received a Pathology Report with the following Dx:

"In situ mantel cell neoplasia of Inguinal lymph node".

Comments to support this Dx is:
"In situ mantle cell neoplasia, formerly referred to as "in situ mantle cell lymphoma" or "mantel cell lymphoma-like B cell of uncertain/undetermined significance" is defined as the presence of cyclin D1-positive lymphocytes with CCND1 rearrangements restricted to the mantle zones of otherwise hyperplastic-appearing lymphoid tissue".
"These cases are very rare and are usually identified as an incidental findings, sometimes associated with other malignant lymphomas".

That all being said.. did anyone ever came across a Dx of in situ mantle cell lymphoma? Does anyone know if there are even coding guidelines in this situation? Are there any guidelines? If not, what would be the best way to code this?

thank you for any suggestions and/or guidelines..

Anna
