Lysis of adhesions

I'm coding for laparoscopic total hysterectomy (58570). Doc did extensive lysis of adhesions (bowel). I've heard two schools of thought on whether to code together.
I've looked at 44180 but when I check CCI edit w/58570 - it tells me there is conflict and cannot code both, even with modifier.
Has anyone coded these together? and if so .... have you been reimbursed?

you cannot code both codes when they are bundled and non modifiable. The best you can do is use the 22 modifier on the principle procedure, but only if you have a great note that spells out that the adhesions were extensive and they complicated the primary procedure.
