Have a BCBS patient level 3 only seen for low back pain dx M54.50 as primary. Clearinghouse denied as unprocessable date of service 10/8/2021.

M54.50 is valid beginning on 10/1/2021. Either the clearinghouse or BCBS has not yet updated their code edits, or else they are denying it for another reason unrelated to the diagnosis code itself.
