I was wondering what code you would use for a MAC sedation for a TEE.

00520 or 00500?

We use 01922 with a QS modifier in addition to any other appropriate modifier(s). The QS shows MAC sedation was used. You'll need to list a supporting diagnosis for using MAC too.
