I am trying to find documentation requirements for this test and having a very difficult time. We have some doctors that are performing this test and also performing an MRI (usually a different day) and waiting months to document the interpretation (results) and sometimes dropping a charge the day they document and sign making it look like the test took place on the day it was documented (months later). This doesn't seem right to me. But I cannot find anything that tells me they have to document within a certain timeframe. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I may have to follow the guidelines of the next closest test which might be Long Term EEG.
