Hello,

We are getting denials for Z30.2 from certain payers for 55250. Has anyone else seen this and have any resources as to what these payers are looking for otherwise? I have researched and come up empty handed. Thanks!

Hi Kelly,
Also is there a medical necessity reasons listed why getting a vasectomy like examples of dx E29.1, C61,C62, C67.2 N44, N46.1 N48 N46 , F64 or Q54 first which should be added to provider s documentation? If not payer may not cover it...maybe a stipulation or clause in the insurance contract.
Just some ideas which may help
