Management of cardiac arrest

Good afternoon.

Our M.D. is asking if we can bill for his "management of a patient's cardiac arrest".. I am unsure about this.

Can anyone share some suggestions / coding info / etc?

I think we're going to need more information. Has there been any face-to-face encounter? Is he simply asking for a diagnosis code? Is he giving advice to another provider without having seen the patient? Is he doing CPR? I'm not quite sure what you're asking...sorry! All of these scenarios would give you a different answer.
 
Thanks for your reply--you are right--our doc's request is too open-ended right now to reach a conclusion. I will follow up with him for more information.
