I am trying to confirm comprehensive assessments in a month that a patient is in the hospital. I have read where you CAN do an MCP visit while the patient in inpatient as long as they aren't actively dialyzing. I just want to confirm that you can do an MCP face to face visit as long as you don't bill an E/M code for the date the MCP is done while the patient in inpatient?
