In my last place of employment we used a point system assigned to each option in trmt options (ie. 4 points for- New prob (to prov) ) addtl workup planned) with a limit of 4 points for that secion of MDM. However, I can't find guidelines that indicate this is correct. I have noticed that other fiscal intermediaries also do it the same way but there is no indication of a reference to find the information. Can someone help me find a reference (such as CMS)
