Our office generally bills for office visits rather than a one-time global fee for closed fracture treatment. Table of Risk lists closed treatment of a fracture as a moderate decision management option
My question is for all follow up visits for which we charge these fracture patients, is the MDM still going to be considered as a Moderate level of MDM for each visit following the initial first visit.

Hope I am making sense on this scenario,
Thanks

Moderate on Table of risk does not mean Moderate MDM

To come up with the correct MDM making for the visit you need to look at three factors:

* All medical conditions
* Data
* Table of Risk

These three together make up MDM for the visit so make sure you are taking all three into account.

The initial decision for fracture care would be Moderate on the table of risk, but that would go down for the follow up visits unless the fracture has displaced or is not healing.
