Good Afternoon , I have a question and needed another set of eyes for guidance Excision Procedure Note:
- pre-op size = 0.6 x 0.5 cm cm
- margin size = 0.4 cm
- defect size = 1.4 cm x 1.3 cm
Calculating up the excision of malignant lesion 1.4 ( being widest area)+ margins (0.4)*2 ... =1.4+0.8=2.2

I believe you are interpreting this incorrectly. The lesion itself is listed as 0.6cm x 0.5cm with 0.4cm margin. The defect is the size of the actual excision, and the math is already done for you.
The math is 0.6 plus 0.8 (margin 0.4x2) = 1.4cm
