Hello,

I've recently started with this company and have run into several problems reviewing charts. Can anyone tell me what they mean when they ask for the provider type. This box is located on the review forms. I've found an HCC but can't capture it because it has an error message at the top asking about provider signature and what not. I.T. doesn't work on the weekend and this manual I have seems to be for a field reviewer and not a remote coder. Most of the information is the same but I'm stuck. Please help me out if you can. I can take phone calls @ 404-422-1521. I'm on the east coast and will be up for a while. LOL.

provider type

This would be physician if it's a physician. Basically if they are a MD or DO the answer is physician.


Maybe your a "hospital". Maybe you are a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP or midlevel).

This would be your "types"
