My surgeon did a debridement of a medial meniscal tear. My first thought was 29881.
Would appreciate your thoughts on this. The report reads:
The Arthroscope was passed above medial joint space. A complex tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus was identified. This was debrided back to a stable margin.
Then he moves on. I am used to a little more detail on a menisectomy, that is why I am asking what thoughts you might have. . . . . ?
