Wiki Median Nerve Block for CTR - The physician is doing a CTR

The physician is doing a CTR, but the anesthesiologist is doing the nerve block. I need some help with this nerve block code. Should I just use 20526? or one from 644-- series?

If the physician is doing an injection for CTR, then use 20526. If the anesthesiologist is performing a nerve block, then it is up to the anesthesiologist to code and bill for that procedure. If the same provider that performs the CTR also performs the nerve block, then you would use 20526 plus 64450, although the nerve block is usually bundled into the larger procedure.
