Hello,

Our practice is getting credentialed with Medicaid, and I'm having trouble finding the correct codes to bill for psychotherapy and substance abuse services under LICSW. Please help!!!!!!
 
If you're in NY Medicaid will only cover the 90832 and 90834 for individual psychotherapy (they won't cover 60 minutes anymore). Also note that they don't allow rounding. If you are in NY you could refer to the OMH website for more info. An LCSW could also use 90791, 90846, 90847, 90849, 90853
 
The services are rendered in an office setting in the state of Florida. At the moment the LICSW does not work under an MD. The LICSW is only providing psychotherapy and counseling services when needed
