Wiki Medical Assistant giving vaccines

If a patient does not receive a vaccine on the visit with the physician and comes back in the office at a later date, and the vaccine is given by a Medical Assistant, can that service be billed under the doctor, as incident to services?

We do bill immunizations done by the MA/nurse, with the MD as the billing provider.

I agree...we bill for shots only alot and bill under the supervising physician
