Required Experience
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
? Associates degree and/or 2 or more years of relevant experience is required
? Practice Management software skills is required, Allscripts or eClinical preferred.
? CPC or CPC-A , preferred but not required
Essential Job Requirements:
? Possession of strong organizational skills
? Ability to handle multiple projects / tasks concurrently
? Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
? Ability to work collectively with the operations team members
Primary Duties:
? Daily duties including posting charges, payments and claims follow-up
? Demonstrate outstanding work ethic by working cooperatively with all team members and management
? Assess workflow and develop strategies to organize and prioritize in order to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
? Handling and resolving multiple and complex billing issues on a daily basis
? Maintains strict confidentiality with regard to protected health information and adheres to HIPAA Privacy & Security policies and procedures
? Ability to use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information
