Hey everyone,

Are there areas of the country that are better saturated and have positive career outlooks for medical coders than other places? I live in the Boston metro area but I am open to moving around for the right job. Any insight would be great as well as specifically the areas of Florida and Phoenix, AZ.

I'm in Worcester and I would think Boston area would have high demand. You have several of the top healthcare systems in the US and several national payers.

FL specifically is not a good job market for coders regarding positive career outlooks......not sure why. There are just very few jobs available.
