Good morning,
When referring to Category 3 of Data when using Medical Decision Making and didn't know if that all needed to be on the day of the visit, like with using the time factor. Our provider sometimes doesn’t reach the external provider until the next day, but it would still be a 'part' of that encounter?

My understanding is if billing on time it only includes time spent on the DOS, but MDM does not have the same requirement. The CPT changes book states within 3 days prior to the visit, during the visit and within 7 days after for MDM.
