If the patient has had surgery and they are in Arthrodesis status with no other complaints would that be considered self limited for the follow up outside of the global period? Would all post procedure surgeries without complications be considered self limited? or would they be considered chronic stable since they have had surgery and have instrumentation?

If the surgery was for some kind of acute injury and it's now fine, I would say that falls under the former. If the patient has a chronic condition, then I would say it falls under the latter.
